DESCRIPTION:The friends of Towneley park meet every Thursday at the Friends Meeting Room. The meeting room can be found near the bowling green behind the Italian gardens and close to Offshoots community garden. The group undertake an array of different gardening activities\, along with cleaning signs\, refurbishing benches and any little jobs that help keep the park welcoming and attractive for all visitors.  \n\n\n\nIt is a fab way to learn new skills\, and meet new people whilst taking pride in local spaces. Anyone is welcome to come along\, and the group always finish with a brew\, biscuit and a chat.

We go at a gentle pace suitable for anyone who does not have a severe mobility difficulty and/or is not seriously unfit. \n\n\n\nOur walks provide opportunities to enjoy the beauty of canals right on your doorstep. Each weekly walk is set at a gentle pace. \n\n\n\nThe walk starts at 1pm each Monday and the meet point is Finsley Gate Wharf. \n\n\n\nCanals and rivers are the perfect places to boost your mood and improve your physical and mental health. Even in busy towns and cities\, they provide special spaces where you can relax\, recharge\, and get your body moving. You may even learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife!

SUMMARY:Padiham Guided Walks
DESCRIPTION:The Active Together Walking Project supports a number of free walks that run weekly in the Borough. They are open to all abilities and have different difficulty gradings on all walks to ensure you can select the best walk for you. A = Easy\, B = Moderate\, C = A little more vigorous  Walks are led by volunteer walk leaders or our staff. The walk volunteers and staff are kind and welcoming\, and provide a friendly opportunity for you to come and walk\, explore new routes\, and meet new people.The walk will leave from outside Padiham Leisure Centre\, and can last up to 2 hours. There will be class B and C walks available. \n\n\n\nHow can I take part in one of these walks?\n\n\n\nSimply come along. New walkers will be asked to fill in a registration form before going on their first walk. This can be done just before the walk so please turn up 10 minutes earlier to your first walk.If possible contact our walk leader beforehand so we know to expect you.

The meeting room can be found near the bowling green behind the Italian gardens and close to Offshoots community garden. The group undertake an array of different gardening activities\, along with cleaning signs\, refurbishing benches and any little jobs that help keep the park welcoming and attractive for all visitors.  \n\n\n\nIt is a fab way to learn new skills\, and meet new people whilst taking pride in local spaces. DESCRIPTION:We’ve partnered with Outdoors 4 All to bring Let’s Walk Burnley. \n\n\n\nOur free walk leader-led canal walks are an easy way to get active and meet new people. We go at a gentle pace suitable for anyone who does not have a severe mobility difficulty and/or is not seriously unfit. \n\n\n\nOur walks provide opportunities to enjoy the beauty of canals right on your doorstep. Each weekly walk is set at a gentle pace. \n\n\n\nThe walk starts at 1pm each Monday and the meet point is Finsley Gate Wharf. \n\n\n\nCanals and rivers are the perfect places to boost your mood and improve your physical and mental health. Even in busy towns and cities\, they provide special spaces where you can relax\, recharge\, and get your body moving. You may even learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife!

SUMMARY:Padiham Guided Walks
DESCRIPTION:The Active Together Walking Project supports a number of free walks that run weekly in the Borough. They are open to all abilities and have different difficulty gradings on all walks to ensure you can select the best walk for you. A = Easy\, B = Moderate\, C = A little more vigorous  Walks are led by volunteer walk leaders or our staff. The walk volunteers and staff are kind and welcoming\, and provide a friendly opportunity for you to come and walk\, explore new routes\, and meet new people.The walk will leave from outside Padiham Leisure Centre\, and can last up to 2 hours. There will be class B and C walks available. \n\n\n\nHow can I take part in one of these walks?\n\n\n\nSimply come along. New walkers will be asked to fill in a registration form before going on their first walk. This can be done just before the walk so please turn up 10 minutes earlier to your first walk.If possible contact our walk leader beforehand so we know to expect you.
