ParkPlay
ParkPlay is a community initiative designed to encourage people of all ages to get active and have fun in their local parks. It offers a range of free, inclusive, and engaging activities every Saturday morning. From traditional games like football and tag to creative activities like obstacle courses and team challenges, ParkPlay offers a wide variety of fun, non-competitive activities suitable for all ages.
Why ParkPlay?
ParkPlay is an inclusive, community-focused initiative that brings people of all ages together. Whether you’re a child, teenager, adult, or senior, there are countless reasons to join ParkPlay in Burnley.
- Improved Health and Wellbeing – Regular participation in games and activities will help you move more and keep you active. Being active, especially outdoors can also support your mental wellbeing by reducing stress and boosting mood.

How to Get Involved
- Find a Local Session: Check the ParkPlay website to find details of sessions in your area.
Scott Park – ParkPlay (park-play.com) - Register Online: Before you go along to your first ParkPlay, you will need you to register. You’ll then be able to quickly sign in when you arrive on a Saturday morning, and get playing straight away.
- Join In: Simply turn up at the designated park on Saturday morning and join in the activities.
