Join us for an engaging introductory session as we explore the beauty of Burnley’s trees, discovering their wonders as they begin to bloom.
The walk will start at Deer Park Road, former 9 hole golf course car park, taking in the wonderful area of Towneley Park and surrounding areas.
The walk will be a gentle stroll and should take between 1.5 and 2 hours.
Guided by local Green activities Coordinator Henry, the walk hopes to view native trees in bloom including, Hornbeam, Oak, Silver Birch, Holly and others.
Get involved, and learn something new about the wonderful native species right here on our doorstep.
The session is open for anyone, but children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
