Wild Wonders at Burnley Youth Theatre
Burnley Youth Theatre is launching a new series of outdoor storytime and creative classes for under 5s called Wild Wonders. Taking place monthly in the new outdoor space “Storyteller’s Wood” , the hour-long slots will encourage your little ones to connect with nature and have fun!
Wiggle into your wellies and head off on an adventure this February as we bring the much-loved tale ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ to life for the first story in the “Wild Wonders” series.
What to expect?
Little ones and their grown ups will gather around the fire for storytime. Each month a well loved tale will be brought to life with plenty of interactive moments throughout.
Following the group storytime, your little ones will be encouraged to get mucky and play independently in nature with activities inspired by the month’s book such as water play and mud painting!
After the session head indoors to warm up with a hot drink and snack.
Please note these sessions take place outdoors come rain or shine, so it’s recommended that you wear suitable warm clothing, waterproofs, and wellies, especially during the cold and wet months.
Time: 9:30am – 10:30am / 10:45am – 11:45am
