The Big Burnley Walk is Back – Sign Up for FREE Today!
Starting and finishing at The Prairie Sports Village, the walks provide an opportunity to explore and discover some of the fantastic places, trails and parks around the borough.
With two new routes to choose from, there’s something for everyone – whether you fancy a gentle stroll, a steady trek, or a real challenge. Burnley’s stunning trails are waiting to be explored!
In addition to the longer two routes, there is also a 60-90 minute family explorer stroll leaving at 11am.
No booking necessary.
We ask that all participants arrive in good time to register, and collect their maps ready for their correct departure time.
- Registration and check in for the Big Burnley Walk and Medium Meander from 8.45am.
- 9.20am The Big Burnley Walk (12.5 miles) and Medium Meander (8.5 miles) walks leave.
- 11.00 Family Explorer Walk leave.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable footwear, it is May in Burnley after all!
