This is a family event with plenty for all!
There will be stalls to promote local business, a large gathering of military vehicles from across the tri services , climbing walls, inflatable assault courses, light guns, funfair rides for the children as well as food and sweet stalls.
Military vehicles will also be on display with around 20 vehicles attending on the day, as well as all 3 emergency services with fire engines, ambulances, police cars, police horses as well as the dog section.
A range of Military charities from across the east Lancashire will also be attending to promote the work they do and the support they offer. The veterans foundation will also be there to help gather lottery sign ups, which will directly support military charities and organisations with grant funding in the future. In addition the Star wars (5th legion ) team are helping to raise funds, which is also a photo opportunity for families.
There will also be various dance troops performing on the day from Preston and Burnley college performing arts group.
Healthier Heroes CIC provides support to ex-service personnel, their families and carers who are struggling with an array of complex requirements and support, as well as members of the NHS and other blue light services. The support offered to our service users includes housing, education, employment, tackling isolation and health and wellbeing.
This year all funds raised will be split between Healthier Heroes, RBL and Pendleside hospice.
