Starting and finishing at Offshoots Community Garden in Towneley Park, with three new routes, the walks provide an opportunity to explore and discover some of the fantastic places, trails and parks around the borough.
With three exciting routes to choose from, there’s something for everyone – whether you fancy a gentle stroll, a steady trek, or a real challenge. Burnley’s stunning trails are waiting to be explored!
Registration and check in from 8.50am. We ask that all participants arrive in good time to register, and collect their maps ready for their correct departure time.
Depending on the walk length and walk speed, walkers will return back to Offshoots at different points throughout the day where they can collect their walk certificate.

If you’re taking on the family-friendly route, keep an eye out for special activities and surprises in the park on the day!
After the walk there will be the opportunity to find out more about Park Play and join in some games, make hedgehog bread, or get creative with some crafts with friends of Towneley park.
You may also spot some visiters as we have Hodman and Sally our explorer puppeteers visiting and more!
