Burnley Nature Festival is Back
Join us for a fun-filled day at Towneley Park with lots of Active, Creative and Nature based activities that help us connect with our wonderful OutdoorTown.
There will be activities for EVERYONE, delivered by an amazing array of partners and organisations.
Whats on?
The day as always, will be a jam packed event, full of active, creative and nature based outdoor activities and opportunities for everyone. The event guide has been finalised. Take a full look at the event guide below.
Did we mention that Towneley Hall will also be open to the public for FREE for those wanting to head inside and explore more!

- Nature Festival Stamp trail to be entered into a prize draw.

New for this year, the Friends of Towneley Park Duck Race joins the Burnley Nature Festival programme!
For just £1 per duck, visitors can take part in this fun filled fundraiser and cheer their duck on to the finish line, with a £100 first prize up for grabs. Every ticket sold helps support the valuable work of the Friends of Towneley Park, funding projects and improvements that benefit the park and its visitors.
Duck tickets can be purchased online here – or from various venues across the borough.
Dress for the weather
The majority of the festival will be outdoors around Towneley Hall gardens, woods and Offshoots Community Garden. The festival aims to highlight all the fantastic ways to enjoy the outdoors, rain or shine. Unless a severe weather warning is in place, the event will go ahead, so dress for the weather.
