Lancashire Wildlife Trust Nature and Wellbeing Service are offering you a FREE opportunity to get involved in a 6 week Wildworks course.
Courses are for people living in the borough of Burnley and consist of 6 sessions taking place at greenspaces across the town, followed by a celebratory session with Canal & River Trust.
You will learn new skills and gain accreditation, whilst getting out and active.
Our experienced team, and Burnley Greenspaces colleagues will also support you to find out about future volunteering/training opportunities, and how to use your new knowledge and experience in applications and interviews.
Courses are free and support with transport costs may also be available.
The course is aimed at over 18s (let the team know if you are a young person studying environmental subjects).
The next course starts on Tuesday 17th August, and continues on each Tuesday for 5 more weeks.
Timings will vary each Tuesday which will be discussed at the start, but will be approximately 4 hours in length.
Please do get in touch if the above date has passed, as there are additional Wildworks courses being delivered until March 2025, so there is plenty of time to get involved.
