Friends of Ightenhill Park

Are you passionate about preserving our outdoor spaces and enhancing our community spaces? Become a part of the Friends of Ightenhill Park, a dedicated group of volunteers committed to protecting and beautifying our beloved park.

As a Friend, you’ll:

• Participate in park clean-ups and planting events.
• Aid in the management of the park with the volunteers
• Help maintain the flower beds, playgrounds, and picnic areas.
• Raise vegetables in the poly tunnel.
• Undertake bench repair work and ground work to improve the park
• Undertake tree management activities, wildflower sewing, and general park maintenance.
• Connect with like-minded outdoor enthusiasts and make a real difference in your community.
• Bee Keeping
• Work with the friend groups on upcoming friend events like orienteering, vegetable sales, summer festival and more. . . .

Together, we can ensure that Ightenhill Park remains a vibrant and welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.
