Come for a walk with the National Trust Ranger through the grounds at Gawthorpe Hall and learn about the biodiversity present on site. Learn about the different tree species found at Gawthorpe and the highs and lows of woodland ecology.
It is a short circular walk starting at the front door of Gawthorpe, heading up towards the pond and finishing at the walled garden. The walk is apprximately 1km (45 minutes) and will be taken at a slow pace as we talk about the various trees found at Gawthorpe.
The walk is suitable for anyone fancying a stroll whilst learning a little more about their beautiful surroundings.
No experience necessary as the Ranger will provide all materials and information throughout the walk.
